General Update to My Miserable Life
Posted on | July 23, 2009 | No Comments
So several things have happened in the last few months. The primary one being that I’ve been in miserable pain. First I did something to my neck and shoulders and then about three weeks ago, I popped my jaw and now my whole face hurts.
Second thing was that I’ve been to see two eye doctors and as of yet, I haven’t found a prescription that works RIGHT! I’m waiting to hear back from LensCrafters on the second prescription being filled by the second eye doctor. Every time I try a new prescription, I get the feeling of being cross-eyed, headaches and massive eye strain. I’m sorry, I can’t live like that and do my work. I’m online close to 14 hours a day on average. So I’m still using my old prescription, which really seems to work just fine. Thank you!
Outside of all that, work hasn’t been too stellar. I won’t go into details, but since last week, I’ve been severely depressed, and to top it all off, I got a letter in the mail saying “You’ve been summoned to Federal Jury Duty.” Wooh freakin’ who! *please note the sarcasm* I go in Monday morning.
The last two things to note have been my attempts at writing again and my attempts at flirtation. I’m doing okay at the former, but sucking at the latter. I’ve gotten about 20,000 words written this month, which for me is awesome even if the story probably stinks like a pig farm. As to the flirting, I’m just too introverted to make any real push to see if something could come of it, and I don’t want to turn into a net stalker to track them down and friend them via Facebook or Twitter.
Oh, and one other tidbit is that I’m not doing too bad at bowling. A few weeks ago, I even bowled my best score ever of 197. I was this close (imagine thumb and first finger just millimeters apart) to making the 200 mark. Pooh, but I screwed up the last frame. Shrugs, oh well.
Anyone else doing okay out there?
