Persistant… nagging… headache

Between the headache that’s been on and off again the entire day, I said my ‘farewells’ to the crew at SBB at my last crop today. Part of me will miss being the hostess to such a wonderful bunch of ladies, but part of me is glad, because I really want to go back to just being a digital scrapper. I miss working on pages, though I don’t have a ton of pictures to work with at the moment (let’s just say I have nothing new). Maybe someone else from the group will pick up the torch and carry on in my stead.

Beyond that, yesterday was my last day at work as well. The contractor who joined on to the company a few months ago invited me to lunch at Boston Pizza, and we spent a nice hour chatting about things. I also had a ton of work that I needed to get through before the day was over. I knew I was leaving my boss in the lurch a bit by not giving a full months notice, so I worked as diligently as I could on my parting.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, and I sent off a gift last week for my own mother (I bought her some perfume and lotion and found out that an individual person can’t mail perfume through the mail… only businesses can) and now I have to figure out what to do for my MiL. The husband should take an active interest in getting something for his mom, but as with most males who have a spouse, they leave it to the female of the species to take care of such a thing. Lazy slugs. I’m assuming will get a last minute card and bouquet of flowers, and something else. I have no clue about what to get anyone anymore. I’m bad at gift shopping.

Sigh, headache is back again. Sleep, must get some sleep.
