Buffet, buffet and shopping.

Had a nice outing yesterday with my friend, Maria. We went out for a brunch buffet at this hotel. Was good, and I walked away pleasantly full; on the way back to my place, we went passed Value Village and I thought it would be a great place to pick up a few clothing items to help supplement my totally inadequate business wardrobe (which is equal to almost nil). Value Village is a second hand shop, similar in design to Goodwill, except with different charities being funded. I picked up 3 dresses (two of which were name brand designers/stores), 3 skirts, and 3 tops, all for the low low price of $65 CAD. Talk about a steal. I should go back there in a week and look again when I have more time.
Then, the husband and I went out for a lovely dinner buffet and just stuffed ourselves silly. Mmmm…. I waddled out of the restaurant.
Saturday was a nice time, after my crop, we went to friends for dinner and they ordered in pizza and we got to meet their baby boy. He was so cute — all soft skin, tiny toes and silky soft baby fuzz for hair.
