2.5 Times More…. That’s Obscene!

Well, the Alberta Justice people got back to me this afternoon, after I had dropped off my Security Clearance check with the local RCMP division and gave me a job offer. Seriously, the money is freakin’ awesome and honestly, my word of choice has been ‘obscene.’ Really, I don’t think designing web stuff is worth all THAT much.

So I start the new job on the 14th of May. Though I have to accept the offer first, which I will do on Monday. Plus, submit my resignation to my current company. However, when I talked to my boss today, he asked that I work part time as a contractor with them outside my normal working hours to help alleviate any load they might have. It’s even more moola, so of course I said yes. I’ll be exhausted, hopefully not forever, but the extra money will be a plus.

Wish me luck. I just hope working on one site, day after day won’t be too taxing on my creativity.
