caesious (SEE-zee-uhs) adjective
Bluish or grayish green.
[From Latin caesius, probably from caelum (sky).]
After eating eight or nine oysters, one lobster tail, and what was sure to be two dozen clams and having drank five beers, Bill started to look caesious around the edges. His moan of discontent, the clutch of his arms around the stomach, all showed imminent signs of someone about to lose their meal.
The rest of the party goers on the beach held their breath as the stench of Bill’s liberated dinner hit the sand to the melody of retching sounds. Bill, once done though, sighed in relief and his color slowly faded from the pasty green color back to his normal skin tones. Unfortunately, this event seemed to put a damper on everyone’s celebratory mood, and the party broke up no long afterwards. Everyone patted Bill on the back in sympathy and regret as they left.
