Love and Loss – For Frances

Love and loss — like ants marching in a line — can be seen and acknowledged and then trampled on by the unsuspecting. But as long as the colony that harbored the industrious survives the unknowing destruction, the love that was trod upon will still continue to grow and loss will still linger in the heart, but the knowledge that life goes on will make it bearable.
