triskaidekaphobia: fear of the number 13. (noun)

In his hand, he held a deck of cards and he lovingly caressed the edges. Jason was very glad that his irrational fear — triskaidekaphobia — didn’t spill over onto his love for card games, because thankfully the Kings may have represented the 13th card in each suit, but the number itself was not present, so he could rationalize his fear away. And thankfully tonight was poker night with the guys and he certainly wouldn’t let his fear come between him and a whole lot of money he was sure to win.
